Thanks Slogen51, first one to do a PD here! In the circuit now...for low approach after a t/g? Then did a slow, low approach and depart. Seen on climbout 1522L to west. Lets hope there are a few more in this direction...if I'd seen your Marham Movements post abit earlier I would have had time to get...

Re: Retained Typhoon Plans?

ZK350 (BS111) has not flown for a few years now...another which was used for ground trials. Also ZJ699/IPA1 wfu/ground trials only? Plus ZJ700/IPA5 another dev jet which flies occasionally (last flown July 19?)

Re: Will be passing Tuesday 11 September

Am I right in thinking the Qatar jets will begin to be manufactured once the final RAF one has been delivered? Any ideas whether it’s likely to be the hawks or Typhoons first? I would estimate it will be at least a year before the first of the 9 hawks for Qatar will start appearing outside for grou...

Re: Blackpool September 2019

Thanks All I stand corrected. Pity the ex Canadian AF T-33 was operating from Hawarden but nice to see the Swedish contingent. I was told by a close friend who regularly attends the Jersey show, that the Tunnan has to use its brake chute at Jersey airport (plus draken at previous shows there). Obvio...

Did the T-33 (CT-133) arr just before 0830L today? Heard a distictive whistling jet noise over the rooftops of Lytham around that time....maybe imagining it? ;-)

Thanks for reply can't wait to see Swedes viggen will be great to see.
Viggen is the twin seat in distinctive "splinter " green/yellow/black/grey camo. Makes a nice image especially when the sun's on it...a bit faded but photogenic...

Re: Southport airshow

Hi The BPL Twr frequency 118.4 is no longer used as the Twr freq. 119.95 is used for Twr as well as the Approach. 118.4 may still be used when required perhaps during airshow but not heard in use for sometime. I recall for a couple of years or so participants were "funelled" via Warton overhead with...
