Re: Hawks returning from Deci ?

They did. 4 pairs? Doesnt seem to tally with numbers of pairs going out unless some of these were single ship and Mode-S only giving the lead id of a pair unless specifically an Alpha or Bravo in RFR callsign.

Re: Tues 19/03/19

DTEO became part of DERA (along with DRA). DERA was then split becoming DSTL (Govt owned) & QinetiQ (Private). So yes Gauntlet now used by QQ Boscombe Down test pilots

Local Area

RN Merlin also noted just off Lytham 1145z hdg WNW up coast (as mentioned). No callsign heard; nothing showing on Mode-S unfortunately (yet). Appeared to have come from Warton direction anyhow. Maybe up to Barrow for trials with a sub??

I've heard on the grape vine that an 'antonov' (unspecific) is coming into Warton this week to collect a Typhoon. Can anyone confirm this or elaborate? I'm assuming the 124 would be the most likely?

Zac
Give me the An-22 anyday! Been in before to collect 1st hawk for S.Africa.

Re: March 2019 Logs/Movements

Apparently no hawk fuselages/wingsets were taken out for saudi final assy line (90/100 Stages) this time. 7 hawks remain to go but reports of only pallets being loaded this time. I would imagine BAES are keen to ship the remainder out asap. Same Lump was in 21/12/18 (for previous hawk airfreight). F...

Texan sorties are currently following a fairly standard format of:
Launch from Valley
General Handling in GH North
Circuits at Mona
Recovery to Valley.
Also noted is use of a GH area "Delta" which appears to be roughly ESE of Bangor, south of Abergwyngregyn!); in addition to GH North.

Re: T-6s airborne Tues 5/4

11.05z. ZM330 & ZM331 Both currently showing as airborne. Think we need a new header but anyway.. A74 was hex 43C8D1 (ZM330) A78 was hex 43C8D2 (ZM331) Confirms list tieups above in this thread. I see A74 ventured as far as the Conway valley this am (1030ish) instead of to the "GH north" training a...
