Re: RAF ABINGDON 15.06.1968 'QUEENS REVIEW FLYPAST'
Have just come across this thread and have found the reports most interesting. However, I was there on the day before, 14 Jun; can anyone provide me with, or point me in the direction of, similar information for this, the Royal day. I would think a lot of the aircraft were the same but not all. One ...

Re: C 130'sat Cambridge
I believe it could have been ZH888 but I read the tail from a long way off. I was there about 13:00. There was a C-130 tail on between the hangars to the right of the tower - looked like a grey c/s (G-781?) - and a J in the hangar beside the 747. Any idea, anyone, on these?

Can anyone help me with the RN B350/Avenger that came in early on Mon, 20 Jul, presumably with a crew or spares for the static machine, and left again shortly afterwards. I only saw it as it lifted off.

Sentinel was not the product of a UOR - it was in development for a long time before the Afghan conflict. Perhaps some equipment was funded for it in that way?

Re: Over the Big Stick-CVN-71 by air...large post
Great pictures - I was at Stokes Bay at that time. This helps to confirm what was read off including the aircraft taken below shortly after.
