Re: RIP Brexit
most MP's want to remain supporters irrespective of how their voters voted. They all live in the London political bubble away from real life. They have gone from uni into politics and then finally get a seat. they never had a real job. Hence the protest votes in USA, France, Italy and then Brexit. P...

The Reds should use music as the general public don't want to hear shouting they don't understand.

I hope we don't get the extension as it will mean that we will be in the same position that we are in now again at some future date as nothing will change.

Remember the carriers were ordered to provide jobs in Scotland by the Blair/ Brown administration , not to meet a UK military need. Now it is use them without spending on to much extra kit. Will they have sufficient surface escorts to go into a contested area?

Can't understand how Clacton can do it financially but Lowestoft and Gt Yarmouth can't. However, the worst thing is that neither of them talked to the Clacton team to get best practice. Do different does not always work.

I went for the sigma C. the weight difference between the C and the S is significant and I did not fancy holding it all day. also the price difference. still getting use to the lens but works well.

Re: RIAT post Mildenhall closure
USAF want more tankers, so if they get them expect Mildenhall to stay open. but that decision is likely to come to late to keep the RC135's at the hall. seems logical to put all the recce assets at the same base. None of this is likely to help keep RIAT at Fairford. Might result in more modern aircr...

current contract covers up to and including 2022. not clear if the US will allow it in 2023 onwards. the base might be more active and it will go the same way as the Air Fete. hope I am wrong.

Too true Nighthawke. The old rules of supply and demand apply. I would rather pay to see quality of current hardware at RIAT than go to Duxford and see old classics but each to their own.
I will stay with FRIAT while I still have breath.
