If Coningsby is not participating in night flying then who is likely to be flying over North Yorkshire at the moment?

Re: Exercise Joint Warrior - October 2016

Out of interest have the Gripens been doing any night flying? We've had jets overhead the last few evenings and I wondered if it was them or if it's the mob from Coningsby... Ta It was Coningsby. Thank you for the confirmation - I'm waiting for the complaints to appear in my Parish Council mail box...

Was this a mini passing out parade?

The formation was followed by a slightly elevated solo plane.

Extra activity next week

According to an e-mail I have just received from RAF Leeming there will be some extra activity next week - only details given are "RAF Leeming will be hosting various exercising aircraft and detachments from 29/8 to 5/9, including a large-scale Tri-Service exercise (fixed and rotary wing)"

If you live near to Leeming the planes were Typhoons up from Coningsby - they were out very late last night...

T73.
They were over the Thirsk area until near midnight - which will have made them very popular with the residents of Carlton Miniott who complain at the drop of a hat about anything!

F15s over/at Leeming 8/6

At around 6.30pm 8th June a couple of F15s did some showboating over Thirsk heading North(ish).

They appeared to be heading towards Leeming, did they land or were they just 'passing through'?

Activity over North Yorkshire 16th & 17th May

Does anyone know what the aircraft are that are playing over NY at the moment - as they were last night at about the same time? Also where they are from?

I'm assuming something like F15s from Lakenheath.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you.
