Vermont ANG EB-57B - Tyndall 1981

A new Mac Studio running the latest editing software has given me the opportunity to revisit some old slides and reprocess, here is a visiting Vermont ANG EB-57B at Tyndall in 1981 with Phantom 'kill' marks. https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/54398634664_4e39ca5ad2_h.jpg 52-1511 EB-57B Vermont ANG ...

My grandfather was evacuated from Dunkirk on one of the 'little ships'. John ‘Paddy’ Hemingway was one of the few providing air cover.
God Bless you Sir. Blue skies.

Stunning improvement! Well done in getting that enhanced IQ from the at best fuzzy original. :thumb: If you're willing to say, how long did you work on that one image to retrieve it? I was playing with the software for about 20 minutes, a bit of trial & error, and have not yet looked at any of the ...

C-47A slide from 1979 scanned and processed in Topaz AI

In July 1979 I photographed an ex Moroccan AF C-47A passing through Southend, not that unusual in those days so I only took one photo with my precious expensive Kodak 64 slide film. Unfortunately on processing I discovered it had suffered shutter shake and produced an image that was unusable ! https...

Another Northolt Nightshoot XXXI post ...

Phil and his support team plus the RAF volunteers deserve a huge vote of thanks for producing a very enjoyable nightshoot, my personal highlight was the C-47 engine run with the port engine running rich producing lots of blue flames from the exhaust. https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/54043413300_0...

Isn't this NX664 that is lending its wings to 'Just Jane' so that they will both end up with a fully restored wing?
[/quote]

Correct it is the former NX664, the storage shed was full of disassembled Lancaster pieces. Light was very poor so my photos don’t do it justice…

Re: Le musée de l'Air et de l'Espace Dugny site

Lovely pictures!. Doubtless people will not approve of their condition, but it would cost a huge amount of Euros to deal with them. Personally, I quite like seeing them in that situation. In shot two, it would appear that it is the tail of the laminar flow wing Hurel-Dubois thingy? Well spotted ! F...
