Re: Yeovil(Westland) Sightings Autumn/Winter 2019/20

Noted outside between 14:00 and 16:30 on Tues 29/10/19 were; ZH966 Brazilian Navy Lynx. ZZ102 AW101 landed. ZZ103 AW101 landed. ZZ107 AW101. Green AW149 (carrying 'AW149' markings on the nose - could anyone please confirm this is CSX81890?) The three above Norwegians were all painted in the orange a...

Re: Yeovilton Base Tour 04/04/2018

Thank you for a brilliant log. Could you please confirm ZZ401 was present and where it’s currently located? It’s the only Wildcat I’m still chasing.

Good work and thanks for sharing.

A few from recent trips.

Here's a selection of point and shoot photos I've taken from some recent travels including a couple when you just have to shake your head and think 'ah well, it's another one in the bag'. Re: 100sqn Hawk Fleet

Thanks for the info on offer here. Does anyone have an idea where XX255 (The former 'CL') ended up? Embarrassingly I never caught up with this one.

Cheers,

Andy

Re: Heli-sheds

ZK553 and ZK561 have been in the right shed for at least a couple of days and were still present at 15:00 today. ZK560 arrived back as airfreight this afternoon and will no doubt head over there too.

There was an unidentified Puma in the left shed.

Hope to help.

Re: Shadow 22/06/16

Pawlee, thank you very much for your response. I'd seen it reported as ZZ504 but I'm just cautious that this was taken from SBS and never actually eyeballed. As it's my last one and just for my peace of mind, I thought I'd ask the question and see if anyone had managed to read it off. Call me old fa...

Shadow 22/06/16

Good evening all.

Is anyone please able to confirm that the Shadow which departed Brize around 08:40 this morning was visually confirmed as ZZ504?

Thanks in advance and apologies for another question.

Kind regards,

Andy

U2 question.

Good afternoon all. Apologies for this but I'm after a bit of help. At 17:30 on Wednesday 27th I could clearly see but not identify a U2 through the open doors of which was the nearer (to the main road) of the two larger (former KC135?) hangars. It was nose on and easily visible at the front end of ...

Serial confirmed by eyeball.

Re: Charlwood/Gatwick Aviation Museum

Hi etng83,

Where and when did you see the Hawk please? I only ask as I had a visit to the Aerologistics yard at the start of November which yielded only the two Sea Harriers despite walking all over the grounds there.

Cheers and kind regards.

Steve. I inspected the T2 hangar earlier today and waited around for a few hours by the ramp and logged all but 6 of them. I wasn't aware that any had gone away but it'd make sense that they're still not back. The six not noted today were; ZK014, 024, 025, 027, 030, 037. Hope that's at least slightl...
