Re: Air Brakes, Chutes and Burners RAF Coningsby

Great set of shots! I was going to say the second one is my favorite but having seen them all, they are all brilliant.

Still haven't made it up there this year COVID and all.

Last week of October is the only chance now :/

Re: End Of Hope & Glory?

Actually if you check into it you will find that the BBC did ban said pieces of music from the end of the proms because they said it was to "jingoistic" and "nationalist". And it was after a public outcry that the decision was overturned. This was a few years ago now and is FACT, not a Daily Mail st...

Re: Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020

I know the military content on FS 2020 is non-existent at the moment but I'm surprised it isn't generating more comment on here.

How many of you have it?

How are you finding it?

Re: F-117s in Red Flag 20-3

Ultimately nobody knows for certain what they are doing and those that do know won’t be cleared to release that kind of info to anybody let alone to the readers of FC lol. It’s a bit like somebody saying that they are in the SAS. If they are telling you that they are, then they really aren’t. It’s ...

Thanks for the replies :)

I dunno why but I'm far more keen on the KC-10.

KC-135 vs KC-10

Please don't flame me for being dumb, but operationally what is the difference in usage if any of the KC-10 and KC-135 tankers?

Or are they just interchangeable?

Thanks in advance,

Chris.

Re: COVID-19 UK

Just because you received a bad experience for your child at home does not mean you should tar every teacher with the same brush. Quite. The fact that yours did is however not a reason to treat them all as saints either. Every profession has its hard workers. Every profession also has it's twerps.

Re: COVID-19 UK

What a disgraceful comment, if there is one thing teachers are not it is work shy. Many teachers spend hours of their own time working at home preparing things for their students. I know two teachers (married as it happens) who have just retired and they were heads of department. They say the teach...

I go past the Heathrow testing Station on a regular basis, enroute to Tesco's and since it opened I have only seen 1 car in there. Still at least it's giving employment to about 50 people, even if they don't do much!
Here in Wales we call this "being a civil servant".

Re: COVID-19 UK

Over here (Germany) the government decided to impose mandatory COVID 19 tests for those coming back from vacation to high risk areas and guess what... they don't have to pay for the tests. Either the public health insurance (we) or the government (aka tax payer... we again) will pay for the tests. ...

Re: COVID-19 UK

Not wise at all. It’s making me laugh and at the same angry, listening to people since the weekend trying to justify that they really deserve a holiday as they’re a key worker( if they really are a key worker then they should know why they shouldn’t be travelling). Then there’s the ones that compla...

Re: RAF changed Dog grave wording

The problem is you have some people who see people, and some people who see colour.

And it isn't only white people who fall in to that category - David Lammy is a good example of a person who can only see colour.
