Re: F1 2025

Max should have lost 10 points in the championship AND a relegated to the last place for the next race.

You do not use your car as a weapon, ever.

In fact, today, there were 2 weapons, 1 being Max's car and the other, Max himself.
Diabolical, and he needs looking at by unbiased stewards.

Re: F1 2025

I would like to see someone 'close the door' on Max, what he's doing now is what he has always done, lunch down in inside or outside, and intimidate the other drivers to move out of his way. Dont get me wrong, a great driver, but it is possible to squeeze him if your ahead at the time, especially wh...

Re: F1 2025

Having said the above, both Ferrari drivers worked their socks off to get a creditable result.

Uncle max did his usual 'dive bomb', tgat he keeps getting away with it.

And suspiciously, the clearing of the tow truck off the track took ages.

Re: F1 2025

Goes to show that whatever you think of the Drivers, the car will never be good enough this season.

You could put Vettel in a Ferrari this season and it would still be a pig.

The Problem IS Ferrari, not necessarily the drivers!

Re: F1 2025

Notice how Ben whatsisface (the 'top' FIA chap, clings after the race like a wet dog log to a trainer. always trying to make himself prominent in the background. No class at all, that guy.

Is the Invader still 'in country'? although a war bird of an older era it would look superb on Static (filling a little gap)

Re: FRIAT 2024

Having read the letter from Paul Atherton I suggest the last thing FRIAT needs is a Director of Customer Experience; this smacks of "jobs for the boys" and I, for one, will not be subsidising his salary. As a member for over 20 years , I feel WENDY has done a sterling job and FRIAT needs no unneces...

Re: FRIAT 2024

Anyone think these changes are a set setting us up for a potential larger show? I'm thinking larger by amount of aircraft, 1 week Fairford, the next Farnborough using the same facilities? Or, alternatively, Farnborough moving to Fairford and amalgamating the 2 'shows' into 1 Wouldnt honestly surpris...

Re: FRIAT 2024

Fairford is the only airshow i attend, and having saved for the best part of a year....... Mach3 ticket, fuel to the event and home (110 miles each way plus ), lodgings for 6 days, food for 6 days, it's an expensive but mostly rewarding experience, that having a Mach3 gives me. Now, over the years, ...

Re: FRIAT 2024

And all this could be sorted quickly by just allowing FRIATmembers to go through bag check first (well that would clear 50% of the problem i suppose) but thats bound to be the tent with thhe scanners in...... then comes the rest..... so.... Stand in a long queue possibly in the rain, then shuffle to...

Re: FRIAT 2024

one of the main things i'm looking forward to is standing around in a queue, probably a long one,(standing up) to gain entry to security at 6am, then a 90 minute wait standing up, until 7.30 when we are released to enclosure and showground. Bet theres no chairs or cover if its raining in security et...

I went back to UH, last year to see what was left, and to be fair, not a lot. (where i could access), the brown derby gone, Bowling gone, cinema gone, about 5 years of my youth went with it as not only was i an infrequent visitor to the railway end, i was quite a frequent visitor to the ramp, having...

Re: Best Vulcan Display Seen?

Apart from the wonderful 'last' display by 558 at Upper Heyford and the wonderful low level on take off, wing waggle on departure day (Sunday i seem to remember) the best most awe inspiring display i saw was its last ever display at RIAT. Brakes off, full power, up well before the mid point (FRIAT s...

Re: Beijing - China Aviation Museum

Oh a holiday, i did the whole museum in 90 minutes of move, click move, but i did get some lovely shots, photographing everything there at the time. A taxi from the hotel will take you right up to the entrace (which is all the way down a long taxiway). so worth the taxi taking you, waiting and takin...
