Re: Thunderbirds F-16s - Nellis - August 2023.

Although the pilots names are changed with the code of the aircraft, the mechanics names seemed to stay with the aircraft. Before the start of the season, the aircraft are flying with their ...

Re: New Mexico ANG A-7Ds visit Lossiemouth 07/06/91
Hey Mike, thank you very much for bringing back some great memories of that deployment. Don't want to be a nitpicker, there were three A-7Ds from Iowa and their A-7K and four A-7Ds and their A-7K from New Mexico. I hope the story is interesting for someone, we were expecting A-7s from Iowa and I was...

Re: Coningsby German EF2000s
I spoke with the crew during RIAT at Fairford about their deployment. They said that they plan to arrive at Coningsby on the 08th of September. They didn't want to be accurate on the duration of their stay, only mentioned that they expect to be back at Laage by the 03rd of October (which is a nation...

Re: Sunny Monday At Marham 27.10.2014
Hello, Nice set! I've seen a number of Marham shots with the Tonka's doing failed approaches, and a lot of them seem to only max the one engine when they power off....is there any reason for this? Or are they just saving a bit of juice? Cheers Dan Hi Guys ...Dan M, not sure about the burner question...

Re: 24-10-14 The Captain's log
Hello, I was also there on 24th October. There were some additional movements before 10:00 (looks like I stood up earlier :P ). A PA-31-350 took off around 09:10, just when I arrived at the crashgate. I think there is only one still in service ZF622 of QinetiQ ?? At 09:32 Tornado GR.4 ZA607/070 with...
