Spirit of Coltishall
Evening all, I recently paid a visit to Norfolk County Hall to see XW563 "Spirit of Coltishall" on its stand. I have to say, I'm saddened by the state of its paintwork, it could really do with some TLC! https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/51269082435_4d65ca3a21_b.jpg Royal Air Force | SEPECAT Jaguar...

Re: Mildenhall Mercury
Lovely image :thumb: Were you stood in EXACTLY the same position as FlyingAnts? Your picture and his look identical! :S Hi, as Matt has already said we were stood a few foot apart. Went for a climb out and it was not in sun for.very long! If it has been in sun longer then it would have been a diffe...

Humberside Hawk
Evening All, Thought i would share a photo of ZK531 sat outside on its plinth at Humberside Airport. I was in the area a few weeks ago and thought it would be rude not to have a look round. It now spends its day as a gate guard for the BAE Systems academy located at the airport. Sadly the weather wa...

Special Tail ZH866
Hi All, I got lucky on my lunch break today as Gauntlet 60 did a low approach and go around at Norwich Airport. ZH866 is the last of the special tail Royal Air Force C130's i needed. So the Chance to photograph it in sun was more than welcome. Anyway, enough waffle, here is my photo of it approachin...

Re: Antonov AN30 Lakenheath
I was at Lakenheath a few weeks back when the open skies flight overflew at about 4000'. I think the only place it landed was it's origin - Brize . The round robin flight was well covered in a thread on here somewhere. Thanks for the reply. I wouldnt mind a photo of it Brize. Shame it didnt do an a...

Re: Antonov AN30 Lakenheath
The second image you linked to on Flickr is definitely not taken at this time of year in the UK. Very low light and next to no shadowing on the underside of the aircraft, looks like it was taken in snowy conditions in the winter months. I don't know what the guy behind that Flickr account is playin...

Antonov AN30 Lakenheath
Evening All, I was told the other day that an Antonov AN30 Open Skies passed through RAF Lakenheath. I have seen a couple of photos of this aircraft in the area and I was wondering if anyone could advise if it is likely to come back at any time? Equally can anyone tell me how low it was and exactly ...
