When i worked at RAF Mildenhall for the 727th AMS i went out to a C17 that had called in for fuel on its way back from France, on boarding the aircraft it was full of parts of a WW2 B17 that was being taken back to the USA i believe for restoration. The unmarjed tankers are all TDY jets helping the 100th ARW out, they have only half a dozen or so at mildenhall. the rest are deployed at various spots around the globe. I believe that the 100ARW will disband as i can not see Germany liking a unit carrying a WW2 bomb groups marking being based there.

I know that the taxiways and some parking spots at mildenhall have been replaced/ upgraded to support V22's, maybe just maybe they could support F35 missions ? fingers crossed :thumbs:

The TTTE tails will be for the static park only, they can not fly with them as they will not be sealed for flight. hats of to the design team and the fitters they look great.

Most likley it was one of the RC135's that are operating from mildenhall at the moment, there has also been an OC 135 open skies jet at Mildenhall, if you look in the photo section you will find some shot of it.
