Yes indeed some of the outbound certainly used suffixes A and B. One called as a Flight too. Pings are only part of the picture.

He called Shawbury at about 11.10 on the radio, not long after passing the Severn Bridge heading north and gave his intentions - suspect not too long before he disappears on delivery

Why not - plenty of cracking photos taken by the dozens of well equipped photographers ( several thousands pounds worth of kit ) outside Fairford. It's not everyday we have six B-52 here in the UK, hence it's deemed newsworthy enough for the paper. They may have been supplied to a news photo agency ...

I think they do plenty of long distance flights as a standard part of these global mission. Global Power, deployments to hot sandy place, pan Pacific flights to challenge China. Long long missions have been their forte for the past fifty years and more.
