Have you checked the AF microadjustment? Plenty of info on internet, well worth checkingmarkranger wrote:I have a 70D,upgraded from a 550D.

Are you using all focus points or just the centre point? If the latter you only have to 'wander' off-centre a little with the image to get poor focus.

I found similar results with my 7D and almost gave up with it! However I have persevered and am now very pleased with it. I shoot mainly in AV with auto ISO (limited to 1600), spot metering, 19 point autofocus points, between ⅓ and 1 stop overexposure, tracking slightly faster, AI servo, RAW only. I...

Lens opinions, please.
Hi all, I currently have a 7D & 450D plus 10-22mm Canon, 50mm 1.8 Canon prime, Tamron SP 70 - 300mm and Kenko Pro 300 1.4 teleconverter. So my question is which zoom lens would suit me to 'fill in' between the 10 -22 and 70 - 300mm? I'm thinking about 17 - 85mm, but there are, obviously other option...
