Visited during February 2024 while in Australia 3 museums. The first at Caboolture Warplane museum in Queensland, arrived just as they were closing but managed to get access to the F111C cockpit , Winjeel and UH1, they have some warbirds here as well which did not see. The Caribou on the airfield wa...

Williamtown Feb 2024

Visited here back in 2017 and as was in Australia again last month thought would visit again to catch up with some of the local F35's. Pretty good for spotting, if you visit the excellent Fighterworld Museum (20 AUS dollars) adjacent to the airfield there is a viewing platform which the locals use f...

Re: RAF CONINGSBY 21-10-1985

Love these posts of the good old days of the 1980's, so much variety and on a regular basis. Attended many of these exercises but not on this date for some reason, needed J-625 and J-626 which were both written off 1988 and 1986 respectively. Really appreciate you sharing these memories with us.

Re: Seville Airport 21 Sep

Seville is always a great place to sit for a couple of days! There’s a few things to chuckle at on this thread though. Firstly, Mike (slogen51) I think you need to work out which way is north and which is south because everything you have logged appears to be the opposite way around to how it actua...
