Re: OV-10 Mildenhall 13-10-79

Hi Slogen 51, I was at the Hall on that date and only logged the single OV10, guess never saw the second machine, but my log book says that on the 12th October I was at Colt when two made an approach one was 13553 the other was 14652, cannot recall if dark green though.

Hoping that helps.

Re: Rumours of Tom Cruise appearing at RIAT

Think you are being abit cruel saying that a possible appearance by Tom Cruise at this years RIAT is "doom & gloom" !! All those hundreds of thousands of people from all over the world congregating on a few square miles of gloucestshire for a week. Tightly packed in like sardines in a tin!! Wake up...

Another cracking set Paddy, Coltishall was the best RAF station for activity and movements, always something to see and a great loss, thanks for sharing.

Lovely shots of a classic aircraft which am sure is missed by all.

That 17Sqd theme definitely warrants its place.

Thanks for sharing those memories.

Monday 14th October is Columbus Day so that is not reason for closure, would expect LN to be closed then.
