Re: 50th Anniversary Scheme for GAF Tornado

I used to love the three colour camouflage they painted the marinefliege jets.
From above this one looks really busy but at least they have some to paint!

I made the payment of €15 yes… no receipt yet and not sure how much of that will find its way into their account? Cost as much as RIAT at this rate 🙄

Re: NATO Tiger Meet 2024

A little over £35 went out of my bank (Lloyds) and that equated to €40 so I guess they had all my money.. not heard otherwise.

Re: Apache blown over in Storm

Wonder if anyone read the Met forecast and parked it something like into wind if no hangar available?
Never fool proof but gives you a fighting chance.

Re: Lee on Solent - Stored ex AAC Defenders

I haven't seen the one one the other side quoted as ZG997?

It was reported on MSF as ZH004 and should be easily identified as its a different version and does not, as far as I am aware, have the RWR suite scabbed on. Or a FLIR turret?

Popped in here today 15th and through the rain saw 8 islanders all outside. 7 including the Astor between the hangars and one on its own to the south of the hangars. Re: Royal International Air Tattoo 2022 - General Discussion Thread

Yes… he was very close Friday morning but they cancelled his practice display Thursday while he was waiting at the end of the runway.
They had problems getting everything out of the holds and the ground. Some were getting low on fuel.

Re: 2022 Cosford Airshow

Question for Shawbury locals… are the Rafale visible or photographable from outside?
I need both and will have a drive over if so.

Many Thanks
Andy
