Any sign of the U-2 back up this afternoon? 337 flew again Sam - Dep 1450 - Arr 1540 - spending all its time in the VFR pattern. They moved out of the B-2 hangar, to the hangar which used to have a KC-135 painted on it, nearly 2 weeks ago. Yeah they were 're-furbing' that hangar in early September ...

NOTAM’s will continue to be published as long as the U-2s are deployed there. The remaining B-52 will depart when fixed and within these published hours I would imagine. I think its possible that Fairford's published operating hours [e.g.as in 'BINA Flight Information Publication En Route Suoppleme...

I'm a Fairford 'regular ' who manages a few days each deployment (2hrs away) . My 'bag' is observing all the airfield activity , listening in on the r/t , ang generally soaking up the atmosphere . I'm not a photographer . But I just want to say a massive thank you to you guys who have posted the pic...

So we now have Moderators going against the forum rules? The whole point of these dedicated Bomber deployment sub forums was for just that and were/are set up by the staff on here so I think that’s consensus enough. Exactly .
