New maintenance hangar proposal - Enstone

Hi all, Just read a small article in the local paper regarding planning permission for an aircraft maintenance hangar at Enstone capable of housing large WW2 Twin engined aircraft like the DC-3 & Catalina. So after a quick search I found the planning documents online here: http://planning.westoxon.g...

Re: 1/32 F-4C DECALS

I managed to track down some Cutting Edge decals for my 1/48th U-2 off Ebay. Like everything else Cutting Edge they weren't cheep as they are hard to come by (for a complete set) but I did eventually find a seller in Vegas.

Good luck with your search :thumb:

Recently I was tracking a Russian Government TU-214SR doing orbits over the Black Sea. Also Germany Navy Do228 maritime patrol aircraft can be tracked.

Re: AI B-52 Pack: Does one exist?

Cheers for the replies folks :thumb: I did find it odd that one of the major components of the USAF didn't seem to be represented in AI form. I'll give the AI conversion a go and see what happens, however given my history of creating flight plans probably not much  . I think a BUFF would go wel...

Re: Upper Heyford EF-111 parking area?

Ahh, O.k.

Looking at this photo an EF-111 is being towed in to the fenced off area of HAS shelters marked on the other drawing as 1 - 9 ? : http://www.raf-upper-heyford.org/Aerial ... 1989_1.jpg

Probably not much help but thought it might have some use?

I assume you have visited http://www.raf-upper-heyford.org?

There is an image here with the caption:

Is this the kind of thing you are after?

Re: RAF West Malling - maps & pics wanted

Does Google Earth still have the feature to view maps from the past? I've used it before when going to look at old airfields and it has proved quite useful.
