Re: Open Skies Treaty
So what will become of the new Open Skies platforms that Russia had been getting certified? Given the constant cycle of U2 flights , intelligence gathering around Kaliningrad by Swedish / RAF / US platforms and combined with other satellite imagery assets surely the Open Skies has been more politica...

Re: Best day for spotting
Just like the old days of the hobby. You could drive to Fairford and Brize, and leave seeing a single Voyager and may be a single A400M - or you might see a U-2 and four B-52s etc. but unless a MATZ opening NOTAM appears for Fairford in the next 12 hours, no one can tell you what to expect.

Re: Best day for spotting
Having a quick look on the Brize website it has an A400 down for training anytime between 11:00 - 15:00 local on Sunday, no training planned for the bank holiday.

Re: Fairford open 22/08/20
Judging by the NOTAM at the top of the thread unless there is a U2 sortie today the airfield will be open for movements until this evening.

Tristar colour matching
Hi All, I've started to pick up work on a few builds again and am trying to find the best colour to match the RAF Tristars before they left service. From what I can see via a google search BS633 seems to be a close match. Can anybody recommend a supplier of this or is it going to be easier to mix th...

So you go ahead with a modernization of one of your aircraft?"During the course of this review it has become abundantly clear that it is no longer in America's interests to remain a party to the Open Skies Treaty," one official told Reuters news agency."

Thanks Freeman.
I thought this might be the case as I saw on G-INFO that the airframe had been scrapped.
Thanks for the help.

ETPS88
Morning All, I know that in the current climate it is harder to confirm sightings with the Mk1 eyeball but is anybody able to help out with the above? On a couple of lunchtimes this week while doing some armchair spotting I've noticed 'ETPS88' operating out of Boscombe over the South West showing as...

Re: RC-135 info
Hi all have heard work at fairford is underway at a fast pace and have even heard rumors of the construction of a new hangar being started. Does anyone know if this is true? I wouldn't think they would need a new hangar giving the old KC-135 ones are still there. New RCs hangar being built down by ...
