Cracking set

Like RCH 234 KC-10

( Too be honest the weekend up here seems like time off from spotting but there is always the exception to the rule)

Last time HMS QNLZ was around by Great Yarmouth to Cromer before the F-35B set out from Marham but whether that is a future indication only time will tell.

Re: COVID-19 UK

Ok I will have to reread that - it was in the Saturday Times newspaper I wasn't trying massaging the figures to a particular outcome as I don't have an agenda - just thought I was quoting from a source. But the number you mentioned looks odd as I thought England makes up the vast majority of cases s...

Re: Mr Grumpy whinge

Oh yes I hadn't noticed that - in my case that is a malapropism - I didn't go to grammar school :) But people using 'get' don't irritate me for grammatical reasons but more for the style - to me it sounds like an Americanism from Hollywood that has become accepted speech - similar to could have and ...

Mr Grumpy whinge

Why do people , usually under 35, say when ordering food or drinks " can I get ... " I just heard someone say " can I get a Lemonade , Orange juice and a Peroni" What's wrong with saying "May I have " ? You can get pregnant but you may have a Peroni. NB. Google word assist ( what a joke that is) for...

The Joint Biosecurity centre reckon the UK is six weeks behind Spain.

In the UK the number of hospital cases rose above 1000 for the first time since July

Re: COVID-19 UK

I think you have got be careful with the above article - it seems to be saying that hand washing isn't necessary and at the same time promoting air purifiers. There is so much disinformation around Covid. The article says that on average one person might infect 1 to 2 others which is in line with UK...

Great I probably should move the off topic stuff into a new thread but it is time consuming and I am watching Casablanca. Rule 8 of the FC rules states : This forum is concerned with military movements only. However Government aircraft which are pseudo-military are allowed as are Coastguard Aircraft...

Re: NOTAM 17-9-20

Probably a worthwhile discussion but in the wrong place! It is such a pain to tidy up a thread and move posts to a more appropriate section grrrrr. Raski as far as I can see was just expressing an opinion , ironically he/she hasn't actually posted a callsign on this particular thread. Also there is ...
