Re: Dark Tiger, rainy Tiger and sunny Tiger NTM2019

Very good

The Rafale display was one high light for me. Some great high energy manoeuvres considering the weather - people will love it at RIAT.

Oops think I might of left a bit early!

Saw the afternoon launch but didn't see the Klu arrive for Saturday's families day presumably.

Re: Royal Navy Captain Sacked

Seems to me that they are being careless or even reckless with this officers career.

I bet even admiral Nelson fell foul of a few rules.

Re: Tiger Meet 2019

Great shots despite the weather! That german on the tail of the tiger tornado look like a specific german man... We did have a bad joke about that but thankfully it is actually Max Immelmann. My favourite tail is the rusty Belgium Tiger. For me, the special schemes publicly demonstrates a gr...

Tiger Meet 2019

Well the forecast wasn't wrong! Talk about Wet Wet Wet Most of my shots were either through a wet lens or in the dark but it was still worth it as far as I am concerned https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/40910957743_fa7fdefe8e_b.jpg 43+25 Departing from Mont-de-Marsan - Tiger Meet 17-May-2019 by Mi...

I will have a complete list ( as I am sure others will have) once I have gone through my photos plus one or two that didn't fly

I was asked what the specially painted Austrian Saab105 that didn't fly was - I can belatedly see from my photo it is GD-14

Always good to see posts from Airfields around the UK

The Nine ship Tucano flypast will be a thing of the past soon?

Shame you don't have the serials for those of us that have a numbers fetish!

Re: Cranwell viewing guide.

I agree Point A is the best place to read stuff on the ground and it is ok for photos and plenty of parking

Point M is good if they are landing to the south on the cross runway and there is parking for one or two cars

Don't forget Barkston Heath a few minutes south.

C-160F Cognac 16/5

Anybody at Cognac on Thursday morning 16/5 who can tell me what the French Transall was that did a low fly pass and wing wave?

Thanks in advance

Re: NATO Tiger Meet 2019 Mont-de-Marsan

Beja 2020? I also thoroughly enjoyed the event despite the weather. Really well organized and I thought getting in and parking was good. The spotters enclosure was well located between the runway and taxiway and also gave a good view on to the Tiger ramp Well done to the NTM team, Mont de Marsan and...

The vipers in the second week really started to play to the audience

But the Eagles still put in some great passes especially off 06 on a routine basis

Nice set

That is the clearest shot of a puma serial I have seen. They were impossible whenever I saw them at Benson , worse than Army Apaches!

For me Owls always look like they have just sat on a drawing pin!

The Bald Eagle doesn't look all that friendly. Why are they called bald eagle? I can understand baldy vulture - seen a few of them round the back at Mildenhall recently!

From your shots it looks like a good place to visit.

Great to shots from Lossie - keep 'em coming

I still think the bat should be further up the tail , near the top.
