Interesting Lakenheath based F35s making approaches yesterday using the call signs DARK and DECK. All had external stores under the wings, something I've not seen on F35s around Valley before. Thanks for the kind comments guys. I was lucky, right time right place for once. Doubtful I'll ever get up there again, I'm afraid my days of gadding about are just about done. That's why I love this site so much at least I can keep tabs on whats going on even if I rarely see a fast jet these days....

They haven’t flown since late 2022. They’re probably in storage in the T2 hangar at Valley along with a few more which haven’t flown since 18.1.2023 due to the engine issues which have affected the fleet. To date the only ones which have flown since then are: ZK010/011/012/013/016/017/018/019/020/02...
