693 isn't listed on the UK military serials site, they normally have all of them, with the delivery dates etc.

Bit odd.
It has been outside for the odd ground run last couple of years, there are rumours that it will be upgraded and returned to service, time will tell.

Re: Red Arrows New Base?

That’ll probably be the kiss of death for future Exercises at Waddo, transfer them to Coningsby, as for the ISTAR residents I wonder who’ll have priority, them or the Reds😎

Am seeking these to illustrate a prospective magazine article on the F-4J in RAF service, esp. views in flight and any pics of ZE358/H which was the solitary loss.
If you pm with an e-mail i’ll Send you a few. Best wishes, Taff.

25Sqn

Noted yesterday (9.12.19) ZK027:FC which flew as 'VYT30' in the afternoon which completes the 25Sqn allocation of 'FA-FN' with 4Sqn 'B-O'. Now I wonder will 'O' become 'A'?

RAF Valley 2.12.19

Fairly quiet day until around 3.30pm when 'Marham103' ZM149:015 & 'Marham104' ZM151:017 from 207Sqn called up and carried out one approach each with '103 flying a visual circuit as well. Luckily the sun just about stayed above the horizon throughout, another 10mins though! https://live.staticflickr....

Hi Tombs - I miss plenty ! Could it have been a pair of F-35s ? see MARHAM 103 and 104 thread - they *might* have visited Valley Yes, both carried out approaches with ‘103 flying one circuit. ‘Marham103’ ZM149:015 & ‘Marham104’ ZM151:017. G-LUXE having flown a TACAN approach then flew a racecourse ...
