Re: wanted 1-48th ac-130

Might be worth giving B&H models in Lincoln a ring, they tend to have quite a back catalogue of kits, but do be prepared to pay full RRP.

Here's the linky thing to their website;

Re: RAF Cottesmore and the Harriers 1 year on, missed or not

Miss the Harrier, hell yeah... :'( I had many happy hours at Cottesmore, on base, & on the perimeter. One visit had non stop harrier action for about an hour & a half, a day I will not forget for a very long time... :( My favourite shot from that day... :thumb: [url=http://www..com/photos/ajns_aviat...

Airfix 1/72 Vickers Valiant kit

I have one of the above available for sale. The box has been opened to check the contents, ( & to admire the acres of plastic inside... :whistle: ), but all bags are sealed, & decals & instructions are there too. I would like £30 for it, which includes P&P. I can take payment by Paypal, postal order...

Re: harrier t4n

I think your only option will be a resin conversion, they are quite expensive, & sadly, as rare as rocking horse doo daa :( They do appear occasionally on e bay. :) In fact, have a look at this, mind you, you will need a Revell 1/32 Harrier kit... :whistle: :thumb: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1-32-Har...

Re: Reds Practising??

With regard to seeing the whole team up together, for the first time, this year it happened in Cyprus :( Normally though, they fly the first nine-ship around march, just before departing for Akrotiri. The best places to take photos from on the viewing guide are B,D,K & J. Point A is the official vie...

Re: Reds Practising??

Hello Harry. The Reds start training almost as soon as their display season comes to an end. For the first few months, usually up to about november, you will tend to get 2 and 3 ship formations, as the new guys are bought up to speed. There are usually six slots a day, but these can be any amount of...

Re: This is interesting, what's going on at Waddo ?

Observed a said protester today. We actually thought the poor old girl on duty, all by herself, had died, :O as she was slumped in her car as we passed on the way to Coningsby, & was still in the same position upon our return a few hours later. Much to our relief, we were informed by the WAVE crew t...
