Sad day today for all motor sport fans with the passing of six times world speedway champion Ivan Mauger at the age of 78. A real legend in his own lifetime and it was a great honour to have seen him race on number of occasions.

Very sad indeed and not that old really...a famous name from the past.
If you can keep your head whilst all around are losing theirs, you have probably completely misread the situation!!

What a great shame, watched him many times in the mid 70,s when he rode for my local team The Exeter Falcons and before that when he was with Belle Vue.
