The pilot was talking to 492nd ops at Lakenheath odd that he was in a panther.

The Strike Eagles at RAFL have been known to be pooled between Squadrons. There were even some jets with Red fins and 492d FS Sqdn Badge on the side and vise-versa.

There are now Six SJ eagles here as of Saturday morning , a post on Touchdown says you can see them from opposite the golf course.

The Oregon is now 84-0021 but I can't remember if that is still outside?

For the record both Friday's 336FS arrivals carried mission marks on the port side below the cockpit - 26 apiece based on my rather grainy photos, but no names.
