Martin-Baker admits failings over death of Flt Cunningham
Re: Martin-Baker admits failings over death of Flt Cunningha
An utter sham of a trial, the paltry fine of £1.1m demonstrates that perfectly, I'd love to know the reason why MB rolled over in court when it was patently obvious the tragic death of Flt Lt Cunningham was NOT their fault...

I rock, you don't...

To understand the outcome, you first need to understand how the HSE work. MB were found guilty and fined, the RAF top brass and seat techs escape scott free. The real question is, has lessons been learnt by the RAF in the way they record, document and maintain equipment? I doubt it.

As stated earlier, Fridays sentencing hearing was not a result of a trial.
MB changed their plea to guilty on the day the trial was due to start.

I'm not going to say it.......Ghastly Whisper wrote:by pleading guilty MB are just getting the whole thing over and done with very quickly, in this world of scapegoats and laying the blame, its a no brainer, plead guilty get fined move on.
