A-10A at Barton Air Show 1990
Re: A-10A at Barton Air Show 1990
Scramble reports 82-0655/WR plus one other unidentified in their Show Report section for Barton.
BARG does not list flying participants at Barton apart from associated visitors to Manchester. However they do list two WR A-10s in Mildenhall on the 12th May 1990. One of these is the aforementioned 82-0655, the other is 80-0232/WR
Hope this helps.

I tracked these pair on the scanner that day - called Bison 36&37. After Barton they routed POL-CGY and then Woodbridge (if my notes are accurate after all these years!).
I also logged a C-141 "Mac 60163" (from Mildenhall then for Oceanic crossing Stateside) and a 20TFW F-111E "Sage 1" (f/t Upper Heyford) as displaying at Barton, as well as the more usual RAF and civvie stuff of the day. Interesting times
