Juno c/n / civil / military tie-ups
Juno c/n / civil / military tie-ups
I've been attempting to keep up-to-date on the latest Juno deliveries, but am now struggling! Main problems are whether serial numbers are allocated in c/n order, and what has happened to recent deliveries.
The most recent deliveries to Shawbury that I know of are ZM524 on 2 November and ZM528 on 19 December, although several (apparently) civil registered ones have been in and out of Shawbury.
If (and it's a big if) ZM524 is ex G-CKJU / c/n 2028, then what has happened to c/ns 2031 / G-CKJX, 2032/ G-CKOC, 2033 / G-CKOB, 2034 / G-CKOA and 2038 / G-CKPT ?
If allocations are in c/n order, then maybe ZM528 is 2034 / G-CKOA . . . .
The G-INFO web site records 2031, 2032 and 2034 as being de-registered on 12/12, 05/12 and 05/12 respectively, but I have not seen any reports of deliveries other than for ZM528. Perhaps the 'missing' ones have gone to Middle Wallop, but I've not seen any reports of that happening.
As of today it would appear that c/n 2033 / G-CKOB and c/n 2038 / G-CKPT are the only two on the UK civil register that should finish up at Shawbury (or Middle Wallop).
Any comments and/or help would be very welcom1
Regards to all,

Re: Juno c/n / civil / military tie-ups
Hi TM,
The 20xx series of C/ns is not just for the RAF. 2035 has gone to the Brazilian Police, 2037 to the Norrsk Luftambulanse.
Seen at Donauwoerth in December were 2040 and 2042 for the RAF - which (I make it) leaves one more plus c/n 2015 (ZM515)

Cheers,

Re: Juno c/n / civil / military tie-ups
There will be no Juno's based at Middle Wallop.
Re: Juno c/n / civil / military tie-ups
Many thanks to Bob and Scarecrow for your help.
Presumably the c/ns in my original question are all Junos for the RAF, although 2033 and 2038 are not yet confirmed as such by G-INFO.
So one more Juno to find + the 'missing c/n 2015 / ZM515. Although I thought that 29 were on order (ZM504 - ZM532).
Still a question as to whether the UK military serial numbers are allocated in c/n order . . . .
Cheers, TM74

Re: Juno c/n / civil / military tie-ups
Assuming they're the same as every other EC135 ever built, the c/n will be on a plate on the port-side of the fuselage. Just need someone to get close enough to check them!
Re: Juno c/n / civil / military tie-ups
Be lucky to get that close unless at an airshow this year !!

Worth a look when I get an opportunity. Where abouts on port side of fuselage - front, centre, rear?EGVP wrote:Assuming they're the same as every other EC135 ever built, the c/n will be on a plate on the port-side of the fuselage. Just need someone to get close enough to check them!

Ok, seems they may be on either side! French Gendarmarie ones are on the port side!
