RAF Alconbury September/October 1979.

Hi,

Would anyone be able to let me know the date 388th TFW F-4D 65-0758 visited RAF Alconbury whilst on deployment to Norway in September/October 1979. Was she on her own? Diverted?

Hi Herbert,
BAR has 65-0758/HL arriving at Alconbury on 12-10-79.
It was a divert, part of Coronet Pony that departed Bergen-Flesland back to the US that day.
According to BAR it was on its own and departed 19-10.
