Chinook at RAF Wittering

Post by XPLUMBER » Sun Oct 29, 2017 5:49 am

A Chinook was in for a hot refuel at 11:50 on Friday 27th of October and is all wrapped up parked on the north side of the airfield at the A1 end.

Rumoured to be conducting trials work locally.

We noted Chinook ZK563 on ADSB on Wednesday heading up and back from Donna Nook over Lincolnshire I wonder if this is your machine?

That must have been the one wandering about low down in the area below the approach to 04 at Cottesmore on Friday.

There was a Tucarno low over R Water heading s/west on Monday about midday
