JW17-2 Lossie Arrivals & Support
JW17-2 Lossie Arrivals & Support
Spent a pleasant while down at the fence on Friday morning. I'm sure Niall will be along shortly with a global announcement on the exercise (and that of Formidable Shield) to include his usual updates on participants and support but in the meantime here's what has arrived so far:
1. Atlantique 2, 5

All looks good to me on the door Al. What makes you think its not shut properly?13. And, in what seems to be becoming the norm, his door did not appear to be locked.

Very nice Al
Re: JW17-2 Lossie Arrivals & Support
The yellow bar should be horizontal but I've been advised that this is a common occurence, the door is actually locked and not to worry about it. My OCD doesn't like it though - I fly in the civvy version of those.......NWIOPS wrote:All looks good to me on the door Al. What makes you think its not shut properly?

Re: JW17-2 Lossie Arrivals & Support
I think you may find that its standard practise at that stage that the door is "un-armed" i.e. not locked in case of a fast exit being required.
Re: JW17-2 Lossie Arrivals & Support
But every single one that went out like that came back the same way. Just saying.....100arw wrote:I think you may find that its standard practise at that stage that the door is "un-armed" i.e. not locked in case of a fast exit being required.

Nice images Al .
Re: JW17-2 Lossie Arrivals & Support
The door pins are in and locked, its just the handle on the exterior thats not in its correct position.... no real problem, though in the civvy world this is usually noticed and pointed out to the crew.

Re: JW17-2 Lossie Arrivals & Support
Im more inclined to say they have broken the handle! Would hope they lock the door from the inside prior to taxi.onemac wrote:But every single one that went out like that came back the same way.
