The Threshold.aero Data Centre is now live!

Abandon your airband handbook and commit your callsign compendiums to the past!

Wouldn't it be handy if there was one place where you could find a particular callsign, tie up that elusive Hawk from IAT '93 or get all the frequencies for your next trip out? We thought so too, and have spent our summers working hard to collate and collect all the information we think aviation enthusiasts need.

Currently, the data centre contains more than 2,000 frequencies, 5,000 callsigns and an ever-growing number of checklists; not just from airshows, but photocalls, nightshoots and large fly-ins, too.

We are continually uploading and updating more information to make the data centre the most up-to-date and complete resource for aviation enthusiasts and shortly we'll be adding spotting guides for military and civil airfields across the UK and Europe.

Access to all of this information is just £1 until the end of the year!

Click the link in the orange box at the top of the page Mike, then add to cart, link in the green box, and then follow the instructions :)

Should this not be in the section called "Promotion of your website"

The Fighter Control Mess - "A forum for discussing all things related to MILITARY AVIATION". I'm sure the mods will move it if they deem it necessary. Either I think - what's the big issue?

The purpose of the promotion of your website section is stated as follows:-

If you have a website, competition, forum or webzine you wish to promote here, go ahead. Please be aware that no offensive/pornographic material will be accepted.

There are numerous other websites mentioned in that section relating to Military Aviation. What is the point of having these sections if people are going to ignore them and post where they please.

I've made my comment - but regardless of such pedantry, back on topic - well done to Chris and the team for what I am sure will be a useful resource for many enthusiasts.

plmc135, I must admit I did spend a bit of time thinking about it myself! I chose here as I felt it'd reach more people who may find it useful.

I'd also considered posting in the radio section, but it's more than that. If the staff would prefer this to be in the website promotion section I would have no issue with that.

Mike P, I see you're now registered, hope you find it useful!

Nighthawke, many thanks for your kind words :)

Hi
This looks like it will become a very good site.
I have one problem with the frequency page.Under Mildenhall you list 415.075 as being a Tower-Ground frequency. My problem as far as I know they changed the old nfm frequencies to digital secure channels. This means even if you have the frequency in your radio all you will get is mush
. Having said that I will check the frequency when I go there next and let you know what happen. Would it also be possible to have a '' contact us'' link on the home page, so we can pass information to you.

Maybe a trial would have been nice before a subscription?

Frequency database was available, free of charge, for the last 8 months Steve :)
