Is ZZ103 still in primer I presume? On July 13th we had ZJ127, ZZ399, AW101 and ZZ415 outside, and as the doors of the first hangars were wide open we could see two primer Merlins. Possibly ZZ100 (which we saw last year, and is still in primer as I understand) and hopefully ZZ103?
No. ZZ103 is fully painted and has been for several months.

There are rumours that the crashed Nigerian is back for repair. It might be that?

OK, thanks! And any sightings of the Nigerian or other primer AW.101 would be very interesting of course.

ZJ127 L Merlin was on the ramp when I arrived at 09:45 this morning. At 10:00 ZZ103 was towed out of the hangar in full RNoAF c/s.

Patrick I think it's been fully painted for quite a while, certainly before your visit to England.

Cheers,

Tim.

Tony, on checking, this contract was announced last year at Farnborough. It includes new CTS800s and avionics for all 5. The first of the 8 Brazilians in for similar work was due to be delivered back this autumn. With one in the flight shed now, that may still be possible.

Monday 14.8.17
12.14 an A109 did an approach to Exeter as 'Westland 6', but presume this was civil?

Tuesday 15.8.17
12.54 an AW101 in primer did an approach to Exeter as 'Westland 01'.

HTH and sorry no serials.

Can anyone confirm the Merlin that flew from Yeovil 25/05/17 'WHE02' showing as 43C47E (re-used code from ZR352 It AF which has already been delivered).

Many thanks

Not unexpectedly, nothing currently outside. Suppose it was worth a look in the way past.

An unidentified fully painted Norwegian Merlin was in the wash rack on both Monday (18th) and Tuesday (19th) at 08:45. Possibly the 5th Norwegian.

ZJ127/K Merlin HC4 grey colour scheme out this morning (21st) at 08:45.
