Many, many thanks to everyone who attended yesterday and made the event such a success - I think I speak for everyone involved in saying that, despite sunburn and aching joints, we've all got smiles on our faces. It's been wonderful reading so many positive comments regarding yesterday's event at Middle Wallop.

We've no other events along the lines of Gazelle 50 planned for this year, but there's a number of night-shoots between now and 2018. We've announced one, at Barton on October 14th, and there's more still to be announced. Fear not, there will be more fly-ins.Kevin Brewer wrote:When's your next event chaps?

My film of the French Army Gazelle's 'hover taxiing' in and out can be seen here -

I'll be following this up with a film of the whole event shortly.
Many thanks to AAC Middle Wallop and all of the organisers, staff, pilots, crews, aircraft owners and traders, etc for a great day out.
Steve.

Those two are the wrong way around: 4072 was coded GBI, and 4207 was coded GEC. I just spotted it while sorting out the captions for my shots on Flickr.pg1610 wrote:Aerospatiale SA.342M Gazelle 4072 French Army GEC

Did anyone make a note of which unit the French Gazelles were from. I forgot to do so myself, but seem to recall 1 RHC being mentioned during the build-up?
I tried the Scramble database but it lists them as both belonging to 3 RHC.
