Unless they've said "we ain't coming" I'd personally wait and see.... I'd expect confirmation to come from RIAT when they start issuing participation updates.

I'd love to see them- but not if that takes up the RIAT allowance of USAF marquee types.

The logistics of getting 6? Jet across the Atlantic for one show would say its unlikely especially being sandwiched into between two US shows as much I would like to see them back. Saying that the ex Lakenheath pilot is now leading them? Not sure if he's taken over? So that could be a positive thing

I'm led to believe it's 7 possibly 8 F-16s and 2 C-17s, not easy to get over here especially as Gary said, with two US shows either side!

Never seen the Thunderbirds so brilliant news and one that'll start the ticket sales!

Personally thinking 2017 is going to be a bit special and a few more big firsts...far east hint hint!

 Well I was wrong, thought the logistics would have been too much for one show  look forward to seeing them, hopefully it'll be the same as Waddington and the ground show not take up too much time

Well, I go away for one day and look what happens. It's almost like DBH was watching this thread just picking their moment to announce! Just shows you can't believe everything you read and hear. Now what else would you like me to say isn't coming to RIAT? :D

Bearing in mind the significance of this year to the Americans, what's the chances of the B29 making the hop across the pond?

And a C-5A and C-5M one flying one static - that would be Epic more than one gally on the field together :thumb:

Info posted on UKAR by Harvo266 suggests no RNLAF F-16 or Apache Demos in 2017, the F-16 isn't a shock but it will be be a shame about the Apache.

The Dutch F-16 Demo team website seems to confirm the no F-16 display
TIME TILL NEXT DISPLAY!!

No display in 2017!
