Does anyone know if this is still awarded at RIAT each year? I suspect given the tobacco sponsorship, it has been dropped...
Which begs the question, where is it now?
Does anyone know of a photo gallery showing previous winners being awarded it?
Thanks.

Superkings Jet Solo aeros trophy - IAT/RIAT
Re: Superkings Jet Solo aeros trophy - IAT/RIAT
It became the Paul Bowen Memorial Trophy in 2003?IIRC. Still awarded each year -Jean Guiiame Martinez flying the Rafale won this year. Check out the RIAT website for awards ceremonies...
A bit of trivia, the F/A-18 has won the trophy the most (6 times) and the RAF have won the most - 13 in total.

OK thanks - wasn't aware that it had changed names.

Twice! It was the first trophy awarded in 1972 and was sponsored by WD&HO Wills Tobacco until 1983 when it became Superkings, indeed the early tattoos (along with many event back then) had tobacco sponsorship and were the "Embassy Air Tattoo" at the first Greenhams.NickB wrote:OK thanks - wasn't aware that it had changed names.
