The Typhoon was rather good last night, not something you see too often! Hope for some flying tonight, looks like a family day in Southbourne today,at the wife's request!

Cheers

Another tour de force from the reds in tough conditions- I could hardly hold my camera still!

Finished with a very poignant missing man flypast for Jon Egging.

Weather looks reasonable through to the end of the programme although the Typhoon may suffer from cloud base issues as this evening's rain pushes in from the west.
The current list is as follows:
12:30 RN & RM Beach Assault
13:23 Swiss Super Puma
13:40 The Great War Display Team
14:00 Battle of Britain Memorial Flight
14:17 B-25 Mitchell
14:27 Sally B
14:39 Tigers Parachute Display Team
14:56 Strikemaster
15:06 Breitling Wingwalkers
15:23 The Blades
15:45 RAF Red Arrows
16:19 Xtreme
16:29 RN Black Cats
16:40 RAF Typhoon

For anyone wanting to watch things from the airport on departure day tomorrow, the Swiss are leaving today shortly after their display.
Cheers

Agree, an excellent show! A great shame the Saturday display was cancelled, but good on the pilots for going up in less than perfect conditions in the evening!

Managed to get away from the museum stall this afternoon to watch the show and really enjoyed it. Hats off to all who flew today in less than ideal conditions once that wind got up again and the cloud rolled in. As said previously, those in and behind the show should give themselves a huge pat on the back with what they managed to achieve this year.
10th anniversary next year and can't wait, though my feet, from five 14 1/2hr days volunteering on the stall, are telling me different!

All in all a really good few days given the weather. Top marks to the organisers and the crews for keeping the show going in what were very tricky conditions. Must have been so frustrating for all, given how good the summer has been, and how good it looks like being again!

well done all- and a big :thumb: to the pilots for their flexibility in ensuring flying took place at all on Saturday!
