I'm probably missing the blindingly obvious but how do you delete your account?

PM one of the administrators, presumably.

Note that all it does is delete your account such that you cannot log in. Your name, and your posts, don't go anywhere.

No, there are some great people on here as well as a few assholes lol. I don't post on here very often and my appetite for all things aviation is waining some what.

So, why get your account deleted? Just don't log-in again until your appetite for military aviation comes back. :)

I've had some ill health health over the last few years and and other personal issues which has made me think about priorities. It doesn't seem to make sense to gum up the works with dormant accounts. There must be pressure on server space.

There's no pressure on server space at all for accounts, just come back when you want - after all, were all aviation enthusiasts, and we look after each other in any way we can. :)
