Re: Bournemouth Air Festival 2016
If that list was published by the organisers themselves yesterday - then they really aren't in touch with information as the King Air has been pulled for the whole season.

Re: Bournemouth Air Festival 2016
You would be correct......they published it with the King Air still listed, bit of a rookie mistake by the organisers again

Just wondering what the park and ride is like for the Air Festival?
Well run and not too crowded?
Thanks

Re: Bournemouth Air Festival 2016
I've used the park and ride a few times now and it seems to get better each year. Yes, there are some queues but not too bad. The car park is clearly marked and once back there its far enough away not to be in the traffic.

Re: Bournemouth Air Festival 2016
This maybe of some interest to those of you going to this event. If you google, Brownsea Island Ferries or CityCruises Poole. These are 2 small ferry operators who depart from Poole Quay. They are doing Airshow Cruises for around £15.00 to £17.00 per head and they will keep you out in the bay for the duration of the show. I thought this may be pretty handy for photography because you are in amongst the action and they change positions during the day.

Re: Bournemouth Air Festival 2016
Have done the boat trip before and it's very good, but you are a fair distance from the action so a long lens is a must. The boat exclusion zone has also been moved further back this year so that needs bearing in mind too. If you just want to watch then it won't affect so much but photography, with even a small sea swell can be a challenge.
