RAF Brize Norton Base Visit 28.10.15

Post by Dannnn » Thu Oct 29, 2015 4:55 pm

Hey guys,

I was lucky enough to be invited to a enthusiasts base tour yesterday morning along with a couple of other groups.
With Brize being my local base only a mile down the road it was great to see it from inside the fence and get close to some of the aircraft I'm lucky enough to see on a daily basis!

We started off with a tour around Voyager ZZ338.

Then off to 99 Squadron for a look around C-17 ZZ175

Nice set there Dan.

The lack of yoke in front of the pilots seats, makes the Voyager cabin look sparse.

Not up close, there were 2 on the pan opposite the Voyager we went on, and also the visiting Brazilian C130 which was nice!

Very great shots..the Voyager and C17 cockpit shots just shows how futuristic technology has become from what it used to be in a
short space of time.Regards Tim

Very nice selection of cockpit shots. Pleased you had such a good visit.
Voyager cockpit certainly does look a bit' empty' in places with the side sticks. Swopping seats I guess is a probably just the same as that first time you drive a left hand drive car :S ..... your other hand has to learn pretty quick what to do.
