Go via train 7 (Save petrol and time) , use Wolverhampton or Shrewsbury stations on your way in via Arriva and but a combo ticket and get 5 quid off the entry price too !
I do it every year, Although I'm pretty sure the prices have gone up quite a bit this year !!

Where are you coming from 7 ?

As I say , I do it by train every year, it was brilliant when XH 558 put in her first appearance in 2009 ( ish ) Cars being turned away left right and centre as it was full, and muggins here feeling dead smug 'cause I "Let the train take the strain " ...LOL

Good thinking! I intend to be there before that becomes a problem, as we have done in the past. But as im coming by myself this year and im not allowed to drive, got no choice!

Looking to be another cracker this year, if the weather gods let it!

How long does it take to get from the station to inside the base? Going to have to get there as early as possible thanks to the new update ;)

2 minutes at a fast trot, the station is right next to the base.
