This will be my 5th year going to stay at the Barn Farm, it is a very good price and the location is exellent. If you want to watch the show from the site then you can still see everything from there. Also the people that run the site are very friendly and helpful.

I would certainly recommend staying here, the only downside is no showers so you have to have a wash in a bowl or just smell for the few days your there :D

Always seems very popular and not to far to walk to the local amenities.

There's a choice of 4 pubs, 3 in Waddington and one in Harmston. Plus a Royal British Legion in Waddington.

You've then got a Chippy (also does Kebabs) / Pizza place, Chinese and an Indian. Also a decent sized Budgens. :thumb:

Oh at the Budgens you could still get the discounted priced tickets on the Friday afternoon, which is great when your waiting to see what the weathers doing!

Hey Dunk, when you say very basic what do you mean?

I'm bringing the wife and there is no way she will want a field with dirty portaloos like Fairford campsites offer.

Just to add, it is basically it is a field full of Thunder boxes!

They are regularly attended and pretty clean.

Have to say it was a great spot, you have a gate to get in about 50 metres away, with a bus to transport you up to the static park. and only a 10 minute walk to the end of the runway.
Basic yes, but location is what its all about.

There were a lot of drunken idiots camping there last year, for the second year running i had no sleep, they were particularly bad last year, the land owner said he would keep better control of the idiots this year,i hope they do, excellent camp site regarless of noise, bus stop outside, it didnt cost much to get to bracebridge, camp away from the toilets, the may flys at dusk were great last year, people were running all over the place, organisers please keep on top of the loud idiots, great campsite otherwise, make sure to take some good tent pegs and hammer as the grounds full of rocks, bracebridge heath is the best place to go to watch in my opinion

Thats about the right time to settle,i dont mind normal noise, the one lot i was near to went on all night shouting and swearing all the way till 5-6 am each night/morning,to be fair the organisers did talk to them twice and banned them,i hope they will keep on top of the yobs better this year,i cant wait, one more bit of advise, get your car out early as you will get stuck on site as the road out gets closed
