Helicopter Activity in The Solent 5th Nov

Post by tornado17 » Mon Nov 05, 2018 11:25 pm

I noticed this afternoon and into this evening that they has been a lot of helicopter activity along the Solent. I definitely heard Chinooks and what I believe were Merlins. I've just heard another Chinook a short time ago. Anyone know if there is some sort of exercise happening, possibly Browndown or Thorney Island?

There was a Culdrose Merlin using a "RENEG" callsign showing on PP on Tuesday, too.

ZJ135 is not a Mk4, still a MK3 currently.

Only MK4 currently flying from Yeovilton ZJ131
