C2 Greyhounds at Mildenhall?

Post by Scimiitry » Thu Oct 11, 2018 7:29 am

Hello, I've read a rumour in the Heads Up section that the two C2 Greyhounds from USS Truman are at Mildenhall and possibly departing at lunchtime today. I'm desperately keen to see these but it means throwing a mid-morning sickie!! Can anyone confirm they are there and if they know roughly what time they might depart (1300 is rumoured), and which Runway Mildenhall is on today please? I assume from the BBC weather forecast that they will be on 11. Thanks very much in advance to anyone who can help.

Mildenhall on 11 , Lakenheath on 06 at 08:45

Heads up saying the Greyhounds are 'due' in mildenhall at 13:00 and out to Brussels soon after?

Thanks for the replies - the arrival/departure was the bit I wasn't sure about and no idea what happened to the C2s - last post I could find said they arrived last week at Lakenheath with the Hornets, but departed that evening for Oslo!

I think they may be due in at lunchtime, then heading back out again to Brussels.

Thanks to the people who provided heads up and other comments - I managed to see them both land and then depart today so well chuffed - Especially as I also saw the Orion depart which I've not seen before, plus the landing Osprey, KC135 and E3!

Hello every one,

Does somebody know if the two C-2's will come back to Mildenhall in the coming days?

Thanks.
