The usual advice to "newbies" is to go and look at the photography section and post a few comments. That way you'll start to find your way around if not already familiar and possibly provide feedback to the photographers. Whatever you do, enjoy the forum and the hobby.

Now that I have submitted 5 posts, hopefully I wlll have access.
Sorry for being a pain. I love this forum and since being made redundant last November, I hope that I will be able to spend more time getting around various bases and reporting back to the forum. Hopefully I will get to see a B-52 in flight. Despite being 62 years old, I have never had that pleasure.
This is a great forum and provides a wealth of information. Thanks to all of you that do contribute.

Another new member - based over in Northampton so get the Buffs and others up and down the airways at about 10,000ft - lovely sight. Interested in most things but Military is most interesting. Although in the middle of nowhere here, get down Reading direction frequently as my sons are down there. Hoping to get down to Fairford on Tuesday so any advanced info on flying would be great - need 2 of the B52.
