WTN29 heard on climbout 25 @ 1317L.

Went supersonic briefly on "Bravo run" (1331L) @ FL400. Then some GH down to surface

U/d typhoon seen inbound low over Lytham 1430L (BT17?) and land 25 @ 1432L. Definately development jet.

ACP2601 TF-AMU inbound DSA now (1240L) so "hop" across from there later presumably...

Landed around 4pm for the - now regular - transfer of Hawk kit sets to Saudi Arabia - pic below

TF-AMU arr 1610L rwy 25 & dep as ACP4810 off rwy 07 @ 2025L.
2 Hawk fuselages, 2 wingsets, 2 engines plus numerous crates (presumably including tailplanes & fins) were seen being transported to cargo apron for loading into nose section.
1 more hawk fuselage brought across separately later on so total of 3 went this time.

ZE114 (CS3) dep 1413L. as Christian mentioned recovered via initials and break 25 1447L (wings @ 67 ° sweep) & land 1449L. Interesting stores fit with 3xPWIVs mounted under forward fuselage (1 each on shoulder pylons & 1 on centreline pylon).

Seen inbound over Lytham area @ 1126L from NW for TACAN app rwy 25 & overshoot 1135L; then SRA talkdown 07 & overshoot(?) 1142L; into visual circuit 07; T&g 1144L followed by low app (overshoot); 2xT&gs 1147/49L & landed 1151L.

"Majan 7" landed 1106L off ILS 25. first time visit. yippee! It nightstopped. It was reported that a twin seat typhoon fuselage from 358 hangar was loaded onto it. can anyone provide any further info on this please? Was it a full scale mockup used for trade shows etc or maybe an ex RAF stored airframe to be used as an instructional airframe?

ZK436 (BS152) flown by WTN29 T/o 1536L on 07 for PFAT1 (first flt). flythro' u/c up at 1540L from west to east then landed 1542L popping chute.
A rather short one today.

C130J-30 525 "Majan 7" seen on climbout 25 @ 1032L and headed E/ESE.

There was also a Defender ZH002 5 Regt NI (651Sqn) csign "AAC503" which did approaches to Blackpool Apt (ILS to rwy28) 1100-1140 approx, easily visible from Warton.
