If you go on Google Earth and link up that point with the prior point the route will be over the Rugby Club.

click on here

choose the day and zoom in on Windsor, the Red Arrows flight path is the straight Orange Line.
Personally I'd go to Eton Bridge or Brocas Park..........but that depends on what shot you want.

Re: RAF 100 Flypast
After looking at several sources of info regarding the route, it does appear that this flypast will take a slightly different course to the QBF when over Colchester. I'd say that the route is about half a mile further south than usual, so not much difference in it really.

Re: RAF 100 Flypast
Can it be expected that the whole fly past except the rotary element will follow the same route as the Reds will?
Re: RAF 100 Flypast
Heathrow are expecting 59 aircraft to fly down 27R just after 13:00L. That includes 9 Red Arrows. What they are only time will tell.

Re: RAF 100 Flypast
All the fast jet components.I thought it was 27L.They are currently on easterly departures so will they be holding departures and arrivals for 10-15 minutes
Re: RAF 100 Flypast
I note that the RAF and other official bodies are hedging their bets by carefully including the phrase "up to 100 aircraft" in their publicity for the flypast. Hopefully the RAF will manage the 100!

Re: RAF 100 Flypast
27R it is....if you plot the Reds flight chart the co-ordinates given for Heathrow are around the threshold for that runway....Poyle and Windsor co-ordinates are in line with 27R as well
Re: RAF 100 Flypast
I've set up a thread for tracking today. Any tracking info posted elsewhere will be moved or deleted without notification. I'll be locking the multitude of threads the flypast has created to try and stop info being posted everywhere

Re: RAF 100 Flypast
Reading back through this thread, the only reference to 27L is from you - all others are for 27R including one that refers to the LHR email!
