I can't stand football, so doesn't bother me, I'm glad England are doing well, it's the football hooligans acting like arses that spoil it. The 1 thing that really annoys me though is the football coming home bit!! ;-)

It sounds now like an arrogant lyric but it's really about "thirty years of hurt" (over 50 years now!) and still having hope.

Don't let a few drunken idiots spoil it.

Well, the dream is over for my battling little Belgium for another 4yrs.
I had them in the sweepstake to get to the Semi's, so I'm a little in profit.
I would have loved them to have been at the Final against England.
France are a decent side, and not one for England to fear, although that Mbappe looks decent.
One more hurdle to climb...

Are England on TV tonight? All I am seeing are ITV adverts and a grumpy looking Roy Keane!

Oh yes and a load of w*%ky celebrities wishing England well and 'singing' it's coming home
(Excluding Jonny Wilkinson from the above collection of W)

Why is Slavan Bilic on British TV, has he not got somewhere to be on night like tonight i.e Croatia?

C'mon England

It seems we had a major change at half time, with a different team coming out for the second 45.
The inevitable occurred and we now have another 30 mins to endure.
England could and should have wrapped it up in the first half.
Come on boys!

I agree, I always said that the first 90 minutes would be a game of two halves.

Well there we go, it's not coming home... not this time.
Huge kudos for the full squad throughout this competition.
Croatia didn't win, we lost it; it should have been over after 45 mins.
Arise Sir Gareth.

Ah well, not long before the 6 Nations Rugby.

Sorry but England were very poor tonight but will have to stay and play Belgium. After all the media hype and belief that this was going to be England in the final and win let's get over it and we will soon forget the "footballs coming home" song " .

It was a game of two halves , Croatia played well in the second half but we had chances and that's all you can wish for.

That is football.

Well done to to Croatia for reaching the finals - A great achievement for a country with a small population ( Especially since much of it was ethically cleansed in the '90s)

England did well overall - and huge improvement over the disaster of the Rooney years!
