Owls owls owls

Post by Ross Forsyth » Sat Jun 09, 2018 3:46 pm

Hi
Hope you don`t mind the number of images but after a slow start to the year I have had some luck with Owls in the last couple of months.
Little,Tawny,Barn and Short Eared Owls photographed in Scotland and in Northumberland, being particularly pleased to get some time with the Little Owls and finally seeing and photographing a Tawny Owl albeit after dark from a hide.

Great stuff Ross. We have a Little Owl that visits our garden most nights to sit on top of a telegraph pole, always arrives just as it's getting dark though. Last night a Barn Owl even flew across the garden.

Love the Barn Owl shots! I've spent lots of time watching them over the years, its certainly worth getting out of bed early to see them!
