Fantastic album mate, Marillion are one of the most underrated bands (except to the fans of course!)
Some cracking songs on that album, so very hard to pick a favourite but I do like 'warm wet circles', that guitar solo takes some beating!

Love that one but Sugar Mice has to be my favourite!

Transglobal Underground with Natacha Atlas last Friday, a superb uplifting gig.

Did Camden Rocks last Saturday, great day out if you want to see something new. Two stand out bands, Brigade and Ravens Eye, both rock, Brigade seemed to me to be a more melodic Queens Of The Stone Age, Ravens Eye weren't goth metal as I expected but an up to date blues rock kind of sound, bags of energy and character.

Great chill-out tune, even better band...Bring 'em on I say. Do they make them like this anymore?

Yes great choice too ^ Something about you, yet another class offering, so many truth be told.

Then there's this, live version direct. Talent. Pure and simple. Instrumentaly spot on!

You bet..Laurent Garnier, the man with the red face. Masterpiece, even if this genre doesn't quite match yours, ruddy damn good nonetheless so stuff any sentiments ;) no need to swear..for goodness sakes.

More than a feeling, Boston. Good way to start any morning on what looks to be yet another hot one.

Recently passed-on is Danny Kirwan, one of the guitarists in the original (pre USA) Fleetwood Mac whose contributions included licks in "Albatross" and his "Jigsaw Puzzle Blues". I'm not sure I saw the line-up which included him- did see them at Morecambe pier as "Albatross" was in the charts.
Then play on.

Got some Pink Floyd playing whilst looking through Yeovilton photos - I can't listen to Shine on You Crazy Diamond without picturing the scene from 'Sailor' with RN Carrier ops on Ark Royal which featured the song, so it's especially fitting!

Currently down in London for a week, with the wife and a few friends.
We have tickets to see Pearl Jam at the O2 Arena on Tuesday 17th, before they return stateside.
Not seen them before, but looking forward to the change from shopping and sightseeing.

I'm just back from the Vienne Jazz Festival in France where I saw the mighty Magma play their fifth (and final) gig for 2018. Tremendous, especially seeing them play in a roman amphitheatre. Next year will see them celebrate their fiftieth anniversary and hopefully tour the forthcoming Zess album.

Simply Wow!
Absolutely brilliant gig.
Lighting, sound and imagery were just spectacular
My ears continue to ring, a definite highlight to the break.
Loved the whole O2 experience.
Looking to book another event.
