If you can keep your head whilst all around are losing theirs, you have probably completely misread the situation!!
Re: ISS visible passes - ongoing thread
couldn't believe how visible it was in the clear sky and didn't seem to be that high up.

Re: ISS visible passes - ongoing thread
It's been some time since I last saw it, so I watched the 23:41 pass last night. I'd forgotten how bright it can be.
Re: ISS visible passes - ongoing thread
I've put this NASA website on here before, but for any body that hasn't spotted it:
https://spotthestation.nasa.gov/sightin ... XsSJ02othF
The above is specifically for my house in Grimsby, using lat/long co-ordinates, but its easy to change to any location. This can also be set up so NASA sends you an email when sighting opportunities occur at your chosen location.
Did seem particularly bright on Wednesday night, sure could see the more central radiator panels, as well as the obvious solar arrays at each end with the naked eye.

Last nights pass was one of the best I've ever seen, the ISS was visible for ages .

Re: ISS visible passes - ongoing thread
Got a great view of the station last night near Mildenhall visible for a long time, I tried to get some photos but nothing great, however on looking at my last two photos there appeared to be another spacecraft not far behind the station, zooming in it does resemble a blurry Soyuz capsule with solar panels as used to transport the astronauts. Not sure if one is due to dock or had just left the station. Very interesting to see the station. Any tips for photos appreciated.

See:

for the docking you were lucky enough to see. The Soyuz did approach whilst over that UK pass. Cloudy here.
PS/edit. That was Last Friday evening, nothing arrived or departed since.

Re: ISS visible passes - ongoing thread
Can somebody post a link to an ISS tracking page please?........................ The one I used to use (Heavens-above) has ceased to operate.
Jim Bowen, on "Bullseye" :- In which state of the U.S.A. is Dallas, Texas ??
Re: ISS visible passes - ongoing thread
Is on this page, but:
https://spotthestation.nasa.gov/sightin ... YCImU2othG
That is for Grimsby, use "change location" to your own and save that in favourites, then copy to desktop on a computer, or on home screen if phone.
